The shrine is located in the Sieniawa Forests in an area supervised by the Forest Division of Jarosław.
It was built in 1900 by the then Forest Division Manager, Teodor Myczkowski, with an image of Our Lady of Częstochowa. Soon after that, the locals began to call the shrine the house of Matka Boska Jagodna, i.e. Our Lady of Berries.
The shrine was renovated by foresters, and the image of Our Lady of Częstochowa was restored by Prof. Stanisław Lenar from Jarosław.
Every year on the day of Our Lady of Berries, which is celebrated on the first Sunday in July, there is a fair by the shrine attended by many faithful from the nearby villages.
